This body of work is a narrative journey through my family tree using jewellery and found objects to tell everyday stories of some of the individuals I have discovered. 
The research has allowed me a glimpse into the lives of my ancestors and from this I have created a collection of thought provoking objects aimed to commemorate my past. 


 

The jewellery contains a mixture of precious and non-precious metals, enamel and photographs, which at first glance could be antiques but on closer inspection reveal themselves to be one off contemporary pieces.

 

The framed collections are snap shots in time containing prints, cast metal, ceramic pieces and enamelled found objects combined with carefully chosen pieces that allow the viewer to reminisce and maybe provoke a memory of their own.
